Danish duo the Mansisters (a.k.a. Kasper Bjørk and Sexy Lazer) have got a new EP in the works.

Copenhagen-based duo the Mansisters (a.k.a. Kasper Bjørk and Sexy Lazer) have a new record—their first—on the way. Titled Sisters & Brothers Vol. 1, it’s a far-reaching excursion that refuses to be limited by genre. Switching deftly from mariachi-style march to bangin’ space techno, the record is a refreshing breath of fresh air for dance music aficionados. We’re particularly fond of “Acid Route 66”, a cut the duo refers to as “stoned highway arpeggio synth ‘n’ bongo house.” The EP is augmented with remixes by Cómeme-affiliated artist Christian S, disco duo Whatever/Whatever and Icelandic indie band Fufanu.

Catch the Mansisters when they headline our Telekom Electronic Beats Clubnight at Gewölbe in Cologne on February 10, 2017—which, conveniently, is also the release party for their new record. For more info, click here.
